Walk with me, Lord

Walk with me, walk with me
Lest mine eyes no longer see
All the glory, all the story of Your love

Walk with me, walk with me
As You walked so lovingly
When You walked there and
You talked there by the sea

Grin and bare it

Note to self: never bring a novel with the words "a marvelous, original mixture of eroticism and poetry" in tiny print on its front cover to a Christian meeting (regardless that "Swell" won the Greek National Book Award for best novel in 2007 and it's about a captain returning home after 12 years at sea). Was ragged about "eroticism" for 15 minutes. I just had to grin and bare it, oops, I meant, bear it.

Japan's earthquake and the will of God

Excerpt: While it is natural, in the midst of intense grief and loss, to blame both God and ourselves for terrible tragedies (God is punishing me for something I've done/God is punishing our nation for something we've done), these answers miss the mark.
