Grace covers a multitude of sins

Was doing my quiet time and the Lord impressed upon me these words from Zechariah 7:9-10:

9
"Thus has the LORD of hosts said, 'Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother;

10 and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.'

Through a difficult time that I have exasborated in my anger, I'm realizing that 'grace' is better than anger and it does cover a multitude of sin..but grace is still not license as some would try to convince each other as believers...

Hi,

Thank you for sharing this. I was thinking more of God's grace in terms of our sins, rather than using God's grace as a licence for our sins. :-) And yes, you are absolutely right. God's grace is not licence for us to sin. Well noted and well said. Thank you. :-)

I guess you'll want to put a facebook button to your blog. I just bookmarked the url, although I had to do this by hand. Simply my suggestion.
